The Paintbox is dedicated to providing a friendly and structured environment for adults to explore and nurture their creativity through art workshops. Located in Wimborne, Dorset, our sessions are designed to develop confidence in artistic skills and processes while fostering enjoyment and well-being. Research has shown that engaging in creative activities can reduce anxiety and depression, improve cognitive function, and provide an opportunity to socialize with like-minded individuals. Meet Cathy Morris
Bringing Creativity to Life
Hi, I'm Cathy Morris, a qualified art educator with a degree in Fine Art and over 30 years of experience as an art teacher. Originally from London, I pursued my passion for art at Kingston University where I studied Fine Art and later completed my PGCE course at the Institute of Education, London. I continue to draw and Paint inspired by the captivating Dorset landscape, I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and supporting individuals in their creative journey. I am thrilled to offer a range Art workshops for adults, based in wimborne and the surrounding area. My workshops offera range of media and techniques: watercolour, acrylic painting, jpanese ink painting, drawing and printmaking.
